I started this blog in January 2009 as a Photo Project 365 Blog. Over the years it started to evolve into something so much more... a place where I could showcase my designs, talk about trends, lust over fashion, and drool over food.
When I am not working on MDR, I am filling my days with social media over at my company, GroupTalk.
You will notice I may talk a lot about my family and friends, and so you're not lost in a sea of random names, I will outline the "Key Players" that may make an appearance here....
Amanda {1}: My sister. My best friend. The middle child. Mother to Jax. Married Chris in March 2011. Interior decorator. Shy. Quiet. Easy going.
Chris: My soon-to-be brother in law. Quiet at times. Likes to drink super cheap beer. Can impressively eat an entire tray of fresh baked cookies in one sitting.
Jax: My nephew. My little man. Momma suck.
Nikki {2}: My sister. My best friend. The youngest girl. Copier of my life. Marketing Coordinator. Loud. Speaks her mind. Spoiled.
Brandon: My half brother. Youngest child. Lives with my dad and step-mom. Loves video games. Stubborn. Doesn't listen. Likely has ADD.
Dad: Also known as Perfectionist Dad or PD for short. Married to Brenda for 20 years. Courageous fire-fighter. Lives at The Home Depot. Stubborn. Perfectionist {as pointed out earlier}.
Brenda: My step-mom. Awesome. Easy going. Spoils Brandon all the time.
Mom: Ya... my mom - there's a whole awesome story! Helpful. Always willing to lend a hand. Loves her grandchildren. Crazy.
Sara: My best friend. We met in Kindergarten when we were 5. Have been friends fro 20 years. Mother to Kye. Crazy at times. Understanding. Caring. People pleaser. Loves kids.
Q: What type of camera do you use?
A: Up until December 2011, I used a Canon PowerShot A590 and my iPhone for the majority of my pictures. I process most of them with actions in Photoshop, or directly on my iPhone using Instagram. Almost all the photos taken in 2012 have been with my new Canon Rebel T2i, which my BF bought me for my birthday.... love!
Q: What fonts did you use in your header?
A: The fonts that I used are Jane Austen and Lane - Narrow... they are both free, cus I'm cheap!
Q: You talk about your house a lot, do you live there alone? Do you have any pets?
A: If this question wasn't coming from a blogger friend that I know I would consider it slightly creepy... lol. My roommate recently moved out at the end of October after living with me for almost 2 years. For her own privacy, I never mentioned her on here, or show pictures of her room, things etc... As for pets. I don't have any. Except for Ants in the spring. I really want a puppy though.
Q: You have showed us two of your tattoos on this blog, do you have anymore?
A: Why yes I do! I have 4 tattoos in fact. My most recent one was my Sisters III tattoo on my wrist. My other ones include a feather on my ribcage, a chinese symbol for "peace" on my lower back {I'm not so much a fan now}, and two bear paws on my inner ankle representing "the bear" in native american beliefs, or strength. How many do you have?
