That Time I Cooked A Turkey…

Last night “J” and I hosted our very first Christmas. Not only did we fit 17 people in our kitchen/living room, I managed to pull off a Christmas miracle and cooked the perfect 20lb turkey. The white meat was juicy, the stuffing was moist, and the gravy – although a bit lumpy because of my lack of cornstarch – added the perfect amount of flavour.

….. and you know what? It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be!

That said, I will be taking a few days away from the blog to enjoy more turkey and time with my friends & family. In the meantime you can follow me on Twitter & Instagram.
